Ron lived a life with an emphasis on commitment - to work, marriage, and family. This legacy has passed onto his children and grandchildren who were by his side every hour of his final days. Church was also at the core of Ron’s life as he served in many roles as a devoted member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. He spent much of his retirement years enjoying his grandchildren, their time in sports and was always entertaining them with his quick wit and humour.

Ron’s farewell from every family visit was telling his grandchildren he needed to get home to “check on the kids”. This time Grandpa, it’s time to go Home.
